"The Force: 150 years of NSW police" is a temporary, travelling exhibition for the Justice and Police Museum which celebrates 150 years of NSW policing. The history of the police is told through a rich collection of photographs, objects and insightful film footage. It takes you through the chronology of policing from the very first appointed policeman to the changing role of women in the force.

Our challenge together with the inhouse Historic Houses design team was to communicate this story, rich in archival imagery but light on objects and with a very limited budget. What we achieved is an immersive and interesting visualization of policing, all within modular structures that are easily collapsible for travelling. This exhibition will travel to three more venues and will be finally permanently housed at Goulbourn Police Museum next year.
